Can you jump on a trampoline when the jump mat is wet from the rain?

No, wait until the jump mat is dry. Rain makes the mat slippery and gives you less grip. That means you jump with less control. That is why the manual for every EXIT trampoline says not to jump when the trampoline is wet.

Get your trampoline ready again quickly

• Dry the trampoline after a rain shower, for example with an old towel.
• Is there a puddle on the jump mat? Remove the water as quickly as possible. Prolonged weight on the mat can cause the springs to sag.
• Jumping with a garden sprinkler nearby? Move the trampoline out of reach of the water, or dry the mat before you start jumping again.

A cover helps
With a trampoline cover, you keep rain and dirt off the jump mat as much as possible. The cover has drainage holes, so always check whether the mat is dry after a shower.

Is it windy too?
Then don't jump. In strong winds, you can lose control of your jump. Read how to protect your trampoline against strong winds.
