Silvi schommels

The EXIT Silvi swings are made from FSC® certified cypress wood (FSC 100%, SCS-COC-000652-WH). This type of wood does not splinter and is naturally resistant to weather conditions such as rain, making it resistant to wood rot. You do not need to treat the wood of the Silvi swings before use.

Only the EXIT Silvi wooden swing that grows with you, in the low baby setting, is suitable for indoor use. This way your little one can swing indoors comfortably from 12 months old, even on rainy days.

Once you convert the swing to the higher junior setting, it's intended for outdoor use and you anchor it in the garden. The EXIT Silvi double wooden swing and the EXIT Silvi wooden swing wall mount are only suitable for outdoors.

An EXIT Silvi swing has a maximum use weight of 50 kg (110 lbs) per swing seat. For the EXIT Silvi wooden swing that grows with you, the baby seat is also suitable for up to a maximum of 12 kg (26 lbs) per seat. Once you convert the swing that grows with you to the junior position, a maximum use weight of 50 kg (110 lbs) also applies there.

The EXIT Silvi swings are suitable for different ages, depending on the model. The EXIT Silvi wooden swing that grows with you is suitable for children aged 12 to 36 months in the baby setting. After that, you easily convert it to the junior setting, so your child can enjoy it for years to come. The EXIT Silvi double wooden swing and the EXIT Silvi wooden swing wall mount are suitable for children from age 3.

The swing that grows with you is suitable for young children from 12 months to 3 years old (max weight 12kg (26 lbs)). Once the swing is converted, it can be used by children aged 3 years and up to a maximum weight of 50kg (110 lbs) per seat.

How much space you need depends on the Silvi model. The dimensions of the swings themselves are:

· EXIT Silvi wooden swing that grows with you: 172 x 192 x 198 cm (5'8" x 6'4" x 6'6")

· EXIT Silvi double wooden swing: 247 x 192 x 198 cm (8'1" x 6'4" x 6'6")

· EXIT Silvi wooden swing wall mount: 146 x 192 x 198 cm (4'10" x 6'4" x 6'6")

Also allow enough free space around the swing. For comparable EXIT swings and play equipment, such as the Ivy and Linea models, we recommend keeping about 2 metres (6.6 ft) clear all around from walls, fences, screens and other objects. This gives children enough room to swing safely.

If you include that extra space, you get approximately:

· Swing that grows with you: 572 x 592 cm (18'9" x 19'5")

· Double swing: 647 x 592 cm (21'3" x 19'5")

· Wall mount: 546 x 592 cm (17'11" x 19'5")

This gives you a better idea of whether an EXIT Silvi swing will fit well in your garden or outdoor space.

Yes, on all EXIT Silvi swings, the height of the swing seat is adjustable via the ropes. This makes it easy to hang the swing at the right height for your child. On the EXIT Silvi wooden swing that grows with you, the frame is also adjustable. This swing has two settings: a low setting of 131 cm (4'4") and a high setting of 198 cm (6'6"). The EXIT Silvi double wooden swing and the EXIT Silvi wooden swing wall mount have a fixed frame, but adjustable ropes.

The EXIT Silvi swings are supplied including ground anchors. For all models, 4 ground anchors are included, so you can anchor the swing firmly. Quick-set concrete or cement is not included and you'll need to purchase this separately. The ground anchors must be fixed with quick-set concrete or cement for a stable and safe placement.

The Silvi swings are supplied with galvanised anchors that need to be set in (quick-set) concrete. This provides a stable fixation so the swing can be used safely.

The EXIT Silvi swing that grows with you can be used safely indoors without anchoring in the setting for young children aged 12 to 36 months.

The assembly time of an EXIT Silvi swing depends on the model. For the EXIT Silvi wooden swing that grows with you, the average assembly time with 2 people is 60 to 120 minutes. For the EXIT Silvi double wooden swing and the EXIT Silvi wooden swing wall mount, the average assembly time is 120 minutes with 2 people. We recommend reading through the manual carefully beforehand and clearing enough space for assembly.

The Silvi swing with wall mount can be attached to various walls outdoors. Think of a sturdy fence or the wall of a house, garden shed or garage. A mounting plate and bolts for fixing to a brick wall are included.

For fixing to a wooden wall, you need to supply your own fastening materials. Use at least M8 wood screws for this. The manual contains extra information about requirements and dimensions.

Silvi swings are supplied as standard with plastic swing seats. The swing that grows with you is also supplied with a baby seat suitable for children from 12 months.

Your own accessories can be attached using the included carabiner hooks. Consult the installation instructions in the manual for swings with different dimensions, to check whether they can be used safely.

The Silvi wooden swing that grows with you is made for a maximum total load of 50kg (110 lbs), the Silvi double wooden swing has a maximum total load of 100kg (220 lbs).

Different warranty periods apply to parts of the Silvi swings.

The cypress wood beams have a 2-year warranty.

The other parts have a 12-month warranty.

The Silvi swings are 100% repairable. This means parts can be reordered in our webshop for at least five years after purchase.

We recommend wiping the fabric and plastic seats with a soft cloth and a mild solution of green soap. If needed, you can detach the fabric parts and hand wash them for a more thorough clean.
