The Aksent sandpits from EXIT Toys are made of FSC® certified cypress wood (FSC 100%, FSC® SCS-COC-007799). This type of wood doesn’t splinter and is naturally resistant against weather conditions such as rain which also makes it rot resistant. There is no need to give your EXIT wooden sandpits protective treatment before use, so children can play in them straight away. To make them extra sturdy, many Aksent wooden sandpits have supportive metal corners. The corners ensure stability and give the sandpits that unique EXIT touch.

How much sand do I need for an EXIT sandpit?
Fill the sandpit to about two-thirds. Depending on the size, 25 to 100 kg (220 lbs) of play sand is needed. Use clean play sand.
Is a wooden or plastic sandpit better?
Wood looks more natural and insulates better; plastic needs less maintenance and is lighter. Both are safe for children.
How do I keep an EXIT sandpit clean and hygienic?
Always cover the sandpit after use, replace the sand annually and check for sharp objects before each play session.
